Where did Allen go out on loan, would it not be a good time to drag him back?

I agree with DMR. We can aim for better than Timlin that doesnt mean we have to be unrealistic though.

And no, I dont have anyone in mind. My knowlege of premiership reserves isnt great.  I just cant help but think there is a better central midfielder out there than timlin who is willing to join us on loan.

Timlin started off well, but was distinctly crap, by the time he returned to Fulham....I always worry when players reach early 20's and haven't played much first team football.

You can only really learn the game by playing proper competitive football.

Exactly.

Some people on here need to broaden their horizons a bit. Mike fucking Timlin again? Pffft.

Who do you suggest Michael fucking Carrick-he cant get a regular game for Utd.Some people on here need a reality check

Very true, better options and less outlay getting a Championship midfielder around the 30 year old mark on loan. There a few about who dont get regular 1st team footie.
Timlin is not the answer.

I dont get it-lets get a Championship reserve rather than a Prem reserve?

- Hameur Bouazza
- Ashley Westwood
- barry corr
- sam collins

Yep,as were Pat Collins,Albert Jarrett,Chris McPhee,Diagouraga,Trevor Benjamin and Paul Mitchell to name a few.Anyway that's beside the point,I'm saying in my opinion Timlin is a good player who would do a job for us now(oh,and Westwood wasn't all that) Oh again,Jimmy Davis weren't bad for a naive Prem youngster. We could go on like this all night!

Surprised he hasn't had a game recently with Easton being out injured, I thought he had done OK with the few chances he had.

Is Allen injured as well?

I've always liked the look of that Mark Bridge-Wilkinson.

He's a great huffer and puffer, creates a lot of chances and chips in with a few goals each season.

Not spectacular but he adds that something different to the mix.
