I will not believe anything until any deal is done.
But one thing I will say is that IF he goes to Northampton, it must be down to one thing - money, because they are a nothing team, (and now they will beat us on Saturday) Where as we are massive? We've been a lower league side for over a decade now! I want him here, but if he decides to go to Northampton so be it. Didn't we get relegated in 2000? |

I still think we'll sign him. I didn't hear anything in Malpas' interview to make me think otherwise. I think this Northampton stuff is a load of bollocks...or indeed cobblers if you prefer.

Actually, I've just read the original post which this whole thread is based on and I've changed my mind....
seen at our ground this afternoon, hopefully signing tonight or tomorrow?
I mean, that really is 100% cast iron proof that he will be signing for Northampton isn't it?
I just love "Seen at the ground" stories. They're almost as good as "I've got a friend of a friend whose cousin's boyfriend's dog work's a the club and he says....." stories.
