Re penalty taking, any of the "professionals" who are milling around when there is a glory free kick on the edge of the box to be taken (Roberts, Peacock, McGovern, Zaaboub) should be in line behind anyone who gets paid for being a 'striker'.

Then any other 'dead ball' specialist

Then the goalkeeper, on the understanding that he just blasts it

The defenders can argue amongst themselves. I'd expect the captain to be first of them  if he is in this group

I'd have a penalty taking competition amongst the whole squad every week in training, with some of the cash incentives from win bonuses being used for prizes instead.

Anybody who misses a penalty in a competitive situation has plenty of spare time during the week to practice don't they ?

What a fucking shit performance that was. Absolute wank. And they've the audacity to call themselves professional footballers and can't even hit a target 8 yards wide.

We never looked interested. No passion at all.

It was like we were down to ten men, that's how bad it was.

Oh well, we can concentrate on the league now  :-))(

dont buy that at all.yes the league is the priority but we could have had a local derby or a shitish prem side.both would have drawn good crowds and been winable.
i'm disapointed we are out

I'm disappointed we couldn't put Barnet out of our misery but at least we're all here arguing the toss about football and not fucking cva's, winding up orders and the like. Amen!

no arguements there dude!

RBE I know what you're saying but we can't keep using that as an excuse or reason not to get annoyed about this.

We need to start looking forward not thinking "yeah but least we have a club to support".  If we think like that we could end up in the conference.

Of course our off field situation is something to gee us all up (it doesnt threaten to be our last ever appearance in the Cup, thats for sure). But like Jaanage said, you have to be a bit demanding. From 2004-2006 our board destroyed our team and we didnt put up any resistance. The players need to learn how to play Cup football. Barnet gave us a lesson this tie, 4th round 2 years running is no fluke. We are missing out on big exciting games and big money for the club.

I cant believe the penalties. What a sickener. They ensured they got a poor reception from our support for that. We were unlucky in the game, there were so many shots/chances. The lads worked their arses off saturday, and some players were suffering (Peacock, Ifil, McGovern all had heavy legs).

Its mad when you get two games in 4 days, and both leave you with completely different emotions.

Our fans didnt get up for it either.
