In 2006 Ben Arbib was part of a consortium that bought the Sportsman Newspaper Erm, is it just me that heard an alarm bell go off there? Still, can't hold the father responsible for the associates of the son...

I thought that but there did not seem to be any trace of Diamandis or Holt's name anywhere near it, part of a multi-million pound consortium

Martyn has donated £2m to the building costs of a Chelsea education Accademy
Lives in Ramsbury
Donated £100,000 to the Conservative Party
Patron of NSPCC
His son Ben is a director of Intuition Capital another financial organisation
In 2006 Ben Arbib was part of a consortium that bought the Sportsman Newspaper

No, it went into administration and Diamandis and Holt were brought in to "rescue" it by the administrator, guess who, Andrew Andronikou. With predictable consequences - it folded three months later with the loss of 60 jobs

Okay, I went and read about The Sportsman business in the Press Gazette and apologise for scaremongering. Ben Arbib helped launch the paper while Diamandis and Holt helped kill it. I wonder which poor company they've set their sights on now? Not one that anyone here works for, I hope.
Tonight, I am going to have a drink :-)

I heard somewhere that there was a 4th member of the consortium. Some Seikh race horse owner, although Abib's name and connection could have led to some confusion there.
Regardless.....
GO TEAM FITTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard there were 4 involved as well. Didn't it say that in the Adver? So maybe the 4th person does not wish to be named. My money is on Andrew Black.
