But apparently he has recently sold his business for over 1 Billion!!! If you read the links provided it shows he sold the business in 2000. Of which he got £113 mill for. I was just posting where he was last year in the rich list and how much he was worth then. The other links said he was worth £270 mill or something, just updating it. Happy days anyway!

But apparently he has recently sold his business for over 1 Billion!!! That's how much the business went for but I don't think he got all of it. He sold the company to the fund manager AMVESCAP in 2001 for more that £1 billion, receiving £113m together with AMVESCAP shares worth £300m, and the company became known as Invesco Perpetual.
wikipedia said he got £113m + another £300m in shares.

Media representatives wishing to attend Tuesday's press conference should send accreditation requests to chris@swindontownfc.co.uk Shotgun Tef official media representative. "flammableBen, thetownend.com. Hi gents and welcome to STFC. Can I begin by asking each of you to name your favourite cheese?"
