i was listening to five live yesterday and stan collymore and leroy rosenior were both ranting about them. leroy made the point they're technically all wrong, you have to actually go into the tackle premeditated with both feet and potentially shatter someones leg (you could do that with one leg granted, but two is usually better than one for most things..this i can only assume is another case).

Didn't look like either went in to 'do' the opposition to me. Yeah 2 footers are dangerous and stupid in todays climate (straight red), but noone got hurt and it was dealt with accordingly in both cases.

i'm sorry but if i went in two-footed on you the next time we played footy, you'd be absolutely furious whether i made contact or not.

the same applies at whatever level of the sport, whoever, wherever, whenever.
