my first post was Dec 6th '06
Some one has said on the Adver site we should be due £75k for the televised game then if we beat Notts we have a guranteed full house against Middlesborough @ £23 a ticket.
Add that to (hopefully) an LDV final slot we should have a nice tidy sum coming in this season.
Trouble being King doesn't want the LDV but if i was him with this small club i would do my best to get there as it is a reported £500k payout.
Something not to be sniffed at for a club our size.

I don't have to come quite so far (from Melksham though) but I do wonder what persuades me to travel for over 2 hours on bus (there and back) to go and see the wonder that is Jack Smith, the only left back in the league with no left foot, Andy Nicholas, a left back playing at centre half who couldn't mark a piece of paper with a pen!
And to top it off, we don't seem to play with a midfield anymore :S
Despite this, I'll never stop going :? From April 22nd 06, though I'm fairly sure I joined in january. Commenting on a sonic youth thread about our team being spineless. |

tee hee during our chat with andy "aids" king before the match on saturday he was asked if roberts was back, then he swore a bit and said pretty much that he wasn't...but then played on the wings.
i am a part time detective so i can only deduce king doesn't like him too much OR roberts love affair with the best time in the south-west is faltering.
the plot thickens i can only assume i meant team and was massively ironic |
