Gazza loves that place he tried to get me in on Friday night! The thing is people always go to the Vic when they fancy a quick pint. We played there the other week on a Thursday night and it was actually quite busy.

The big test for Glasshouse is not making it attractive and new inside its keeping out the hundreds of chavs that went there before (when it was bedroom). If they want to make it down town then they have to lose there reputation of attracting tossers so they need to have good door staff to keep out muppets. Then location wise it has the potential to take people away from (way too packed) Walkabout and Sir Dan Arms.

Most new places see a certain boom period when they come out as people want to see whats going on etc like Edwards did, We need to maintain the audience we get. I know we are not aiming at the chav and slag crowd etc and smart dress will be required. I am looking forward to the opening tomorrow, I know how much hard work etc has gone into turning this place from the biggest dive in swindon (except Casbah) to somewhere respectful. Only thing they didnt do was put PERONI on Draft!

Why can I not get visions of Will & Grace out of my mind every time I hear 'Just Jack'??? I had exactly the same issue. I remember he became "Jack 2000" first, then "Just Jack".
