Don't fucking bother then, I'm sure the vast majority of us would hold some sort of wake to celebrate your passing STFC-wise.

Venting your frustration is one thing, talking and writing complete and utter bollocks just goes to show how out of touch of reality you are. Stanley and your good self are the two worst culprits, neither of you offer any constructive advice but are always the first to stick the knife in at every opportunity.

Fuck off to Highbury and take Stanley with you.

Get you dick out of King's backside and you might realise what a spastic King is. I thought you knew your tactics but obviously not 3 4 3 PUH LEASE!

If you were capable of comprehending basic English, you might have noted that elsewhere on the forum I have criticised King's tactics. However, 3-4-3 isn't that dissimilar to 3-5-2 especially once Igoe had dropped deeper. Oh and don't believe everything Sky tell you as it didn't look like a 3-4-3 to me anyway.

Regardless, it wouldn't have made the blindest bit of difference if we'd played 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-3, 5-4-1, 4-5-1, 4-1-2-1 or any other formation you could come up with because the players were utterly fucking shambolic tonight.

Of course it was aimed at j1mmy, chill. Don't take offence but I find it difficult to accept what people are saying tonight because so much of it seems so kneejerk and reactionary. I have to wonder if a lot of these people will wake up tomorrow and feel the same about it.

I have ALWAYS supported King, but the following tactical errors have led me to lose faith recently:

- 3-4-3 away from home
- Insistance on '3 at the back' even when our only 3 decent centrebacks arent available
- Howard in the middle
- The 'throw on Rory' manouvre
- Hewlett. Full stop.
- Ditto for Reeves
- His failure to admit to his own errors
- Not realising that 4-4-2 suits our squad better
- Using Roberts and Parkin as target men

There's more, but im too depressed to be honest.

I don't think after a month of poor football, you could label people's reactions as knee-jerk.

I'm fed up of turning up home game after home game to watch 11 players, who think they're God's gift, play so poorly.  Whether King stays or goes, I just wanna watch decent attacking football.

I'm just glad I don't go away very often, as I have a life     Wink

Our 3 decent centrebacks aren't available?  Who are they?  Surely only Ifil is missing from this description?

Howard in the middle - I can't defend this, although he did say he wanted to be there, but I do much prefer him out wide.

In fairness to Rory he did alright when he came on, and he was running out of options at already 2-0 down.  At least he made the chance and made it relatively early.

Grow up and take your shit-coloured spectacles off.  Hewlett was pretty good last night, as was the other boo-boy Duke.  He broke up much of the attack and had Howard not had him alongside him I would imagine the failings of our midfield would have been further highlighted.

Reeves - I agree, maybe should have had Nicholas in there instead, but I can understand the thinking behind it.  Reeves is experienced, likely not to be phased by the TV cameras.

He's never admitted his failings has he?

The formation which suits our squad is 1-1-1-1-1-1-1....  the queue to collecting their pay packets.  I think whatever formation we'd have played last night we'd have been battered like we were.  The 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 is debatable - neither is ideal to be honest.

Parkin is a targetman.  Roberts was marked out of the game.

Hewlett one of our better players last night? Bollocks.

He was terrible, he ran around a bit but actually contributed fuck all. very few tackles or interceptions and i could count the number of times he passed to a red shirt on one hand. He was no worse than most others though.

Duke & Garrard put in average performances, which by the standarrds of everybody else made them look like footballing gods.

Good point, well made.

Parkin can be excused because of lack of service.  What was up with Rhys and Matty H last night must of went for the same ball about 4 times in the first twenty.

I am a very angry man this morning.  Had a kebab from the place on Devizes road on the way home, now have the shitz and been puking most of the morning.  What a great day so far!!!

You are an idiot, Fiisch. Certain people have a thing about sticking up for Hewlett, and it is truely unjustified. He was/is/always will be an awful player. He provided nothing for us last night, or any game i have ever seen bar about 5, which in 4+ years is a rubbish return for our first choice midfielder.

Parkin is not a target man for high balls. FACT. Play it in to his feet and he will hold it up, surely you can't be so stupid you think he is Wayne Allison material for high balls, which is what a target man is.
