tbh guys, I couldn't give a toss actually who would be manager. I'm rather concerned that there will be no club to manage!

I think the rest of us are as well Sippo, but speculating about the next manager beats hiding in your bedroom with your duvet over your head mumbling 'we're fucked, we're fucked' repeatedly...................................

Fuck it why not give Luc a shot? He really wants the job and he has done a fantastic job with that team in Holland. Plus he is a fans favourite. What have we got to lose?

All this Taylor and Nijholt talk should sit well with me, but I don't want to take a 100% gamble on the manager.  We're on shakey ground as it is.

And all I'll say is out of those three I think MA would be the safest bet.

Cotterill is a good coach, knows the lower leagues and has always worked on a limited budget, he’s a decent bloke and is a local lad (Gloucestershire) and wouldn’t demand sky high wages. Surely the number one choice.

I think Nijholt with his coaching background in Holland would see us play some decent football, and his passion would ensure we were strong, determined and hard to break.

Ling was unproven and is now well regarded, I don't think it'd be too risky to try Luc.

I dont think Nijholt would be a gamble at all. From what my sources tell me, he is extremely highly rated as a coach in Holland.

Nijholt for me. Knowledge of the english lower leagues can be gained over time, and lets face it, he won't be buying any more players any time soon. If anything we have 8 players to many.

Nijholt is a massively experienced coach at the top level (UEFA Cup semis not so long ago), and really wants in on English football. Would probably be a hell of a lot more loyal than Mad Dog (TWAT!) Allen as well.

nijholt for me, surprisingly  Cheesy

fair enough, he'd be a risky choice but then so would allen or cotterill...

i don't think i ever saw nijholt play so i don't think his 'legendary' status is giving me rose tinted glasses or owt
