There was not one player that should automatically feel they have a starting place against Doncaster on that showing - even Brez was making mistakes - slipping over, and also although the second goal was Comminges mistake ... it was scored in at the near post which is not a place a keeper playing well should be beaten.

i think easton and peacock can feel at least a little satisfied with their performance.

agree about brez being beaten on his near post though, he looked rusty

What do you expect when he's had flu all week!!!!!!

Whisper it quietly....... Brezovan isnt the same player.

He was nervy and at fault for 2 goals against Chetenham in the JPT as well

Yes. Plenty of players have serious injuries and come back at the same standard as before. Especially keepers as they dont have to run

Exactly Colin. I have to say I dont really think Brez would cut it anyway, I much prefer Smith.

in that case he shouldn't be playing professional football anymore.

if he's not fit or capable of playing to a sufficient standard then what's the point?

Of course Brez is rusty. Given a run in the side I think he will come good.

Flipping heck I'd hate to be a footballer.  One minute you're flavour of the month, a saviour, then you're banished to the slag heap.

Brezovan's not finished by a long way.  Keep the faith.

he needs games under his belt, I wouldn't drop Phil Smith on his current form though

exactly!

he's rusty, out of touch and a bit like a batsman he needs to get his eye in. he was beaten on his near post which is a cardinal sin for any goalkeeper, whether you're bart griemink or iker casillas.

he will come good and i don't the shop window theory.

But he's trained every day for months and played reserve games.  I'm not claiming he's become the new Jimmy Glass overnight, but of all positions on the pitch, its surely easier to get match fit playing in goal?

I've nothing against the bloke, I hope he quickly gets back to his form of last season, trouble is we've not seen anything even close to that so far.

I hope Brez will come good and it's just 'ring rust' (Oo err!)

However, I would rather he went out on loan to get match fit, as opposed to costing us games...............
