Right you lot, I need your help. Returning the blighty in January and need some essentials, so I'm on the lookout for good deals.

1. Two mobiles - do any of the networks offer bundle deals (i.e. two handsets, one contract etc.) as I'd rather have one contract. Looking at O2 as network provider. Phone spec not really important, so long as its free!

2. I need a DVD player/home cinema system that will play Region 1 (US/Can) spec DVDs as I have a stack of them now. Whats available out there?

Ta in advance.

I probably will, but I'd like a half decent home cinema system. I actually spent less on my DVD players here ($40) than I had to on a kettle  :?

Get a multi-region dvd player or as Arriba says, you can get one unlocked by bashing in a code on the remote control (a little internet research could be useful)!

As for the phones, I'm sure most providers do some sort of deal. Check out websites and send emails. If they want your custom they should get back to you.

Isn't a Technophobe someone who doesn't like or doesn't get on with technology?  A technophile would be a techie kind of person?
