Double Dragon - hmmmm dark Welsh nuttiness
6x - I think out of loyalty to the Wiltshire roots
Morrells Varsity - (what always used to be called "wood" in the Beehive for some reason, as I'm sure it came out of a steel keg like everything else)
Kingfisher - When eating curry
Tiger - Ditto
Wood...was a term coined by the legendary Noel Riley to convey a meaning that it was real ale...it just stuck.
You still get an occasional beer snob, who comes in and asks for a pint of Woods :wanker:
I tend to drink guest ales, half the time I can't remember what they're called.
Elsewhere....if its midweek, then Carling slips down, without causing a problem next day, if on the lash doing a round of pubs, then its best to stick to lager....any strong one will do.
