Whenever I've seen the Foo's they don't just come out play a set and then walk off.  They entertain the crowd, they give of the impression that no two gigs are the same, the way Dave interacts with the crowd makes it an experience not to forget.

Which is why I think the bloke is a legend.

agreed janaage, he seems to enjoy life which is something i like in anyone.

I wonder what it is about being very rich and spending his time making music, that enables him to enjoy life. Someone should burn all his cash and stick him in a boring office job for a few weeks, that'll wipe the smile of his face.

I voted knob jockey, not because I particularly dislike the man, I'm sure he's a very nice chap. I just feel that he's closer to being a knob jockey than he ever will be to being a legend.

Legend? What has he done to deserve the title?

I could never understand all this audience interaction gubbins. I used to love going to watch bands, but as I got older I found myself checking my watch to see if I could get to the pub in time for last orders. I've seen a lot of bands in my time and I can honestly say I've never come away from a gig thinking 'Wow! That audience interaction was awesome!' Infact the best bands I saw were the ones who would walk on, get their heads down, and then shuffle off.

Each to their own Spacey.  I hate seeing bands who just come on, play some music then leave.  If I wanted that I'd just put on one of their cd's.  I want to be entertained and if that's Grohl having a laugh when the electric fused, or Taylor doing a decent drum solo then that's fine.

Like the Chilli's much better when John Frusciante decides to sing an off the wall cover, than them just rattling out the same old shit.

I realise I shouldn't have used "legend" I didn't really mean to, the question should just be do you like dave grohl, yes or no.

As far as Legends go I say he's better than Moses or one of those crappy minor greek gods like Adrasteia, but not as good as ace legends like Dragons or Thor.

i think he's a knobjockey.

he's been in a massively over rated band, then a band that is good at spewing out mundane stadium rock with no meaning or heart.

he's not amusing or a particularly a good speaker.

he can grow a beard or a pair of chops though.

Are you being a cunt for the sake of it Andrew? Nirvana, especially the mtv unplugged album, was ace and Foo Fighters are the last band keeping American rock alive.

Give us a kiss.

That's just crazy talk. It's like saying that the only reason you go and see a band is because you want them to acknowledge that you exist. You'll be wanting a Q&A session and scampi in a basket next.
