obviously prices are still steep and off putting but i'm wanting to get one after xmas.
or i may pay the extra and upgrade my PC instead???!!!

depending on the spec of your pc it would probably work out cheaper to upgrade it than buy a ps3.
console games are generally more expensive than pc games as well.

Dell XPS 600
P4 3.6mhz
4 gig ram
XP x64bit
Nvidia 7900GT 256meg graphics.
i was thinking od selling it and getting a new Dell 710 with duel core processor etc and SLI graphics.
