Reports have suggested Alonso told Dennis he would show the e-mails to Max Mosley, president of the sport's governing body the FIA, if he did not give Alonso number one status at McLaren over Lewis Hamilton.
Dennis is said to have called his bluff, telling Alonso to go ahead. At which point, it is claimed, Dennis then phoned Mosley himself, effectively handing his team in to the FIA.
In the meantime, Alonso had decided not to go through with it. Garcia, however, denied Alonso had threatened Dennis in that way.
"It's not true, and it's not possible," he said. "The facts say it is not true because it happened in a different way."
He did not elaborate.

Renault have not yet named their team line-up for next year, I wouldn't be surprised if Alonso returned.

Hamiltons come out accusing Alonso of trying to drive him off the track at the start.
I wasn't sure it was deliberate at the time but after watching it back - looks as though it was.

Was it "fair"? Probably not, just. Will it win you world titles? Yes.
Much as I like Hamilton, if the wheel had been on the other whatsit I'm sure he'd have done the same. If not then he needs to wise up. Senna did it to Prost (and vice versa), Shumi to Hill, etc. etc. all when the world championship was at stake.
A total snoozefest yesterday. Whilst everyone is watching who will win the Alonso/Hamilton battle, Kimi is sneaking up on them both. An outside chance maybe, but a chance none the less.

Its probably one of the most boring seasons in ages race-wise, only canda and the european grand prixs really stand out. Its just the title race being so close that makes it exciting.

I was really looking forward to this one, but what a pile of Schumacher!
Shame Kubica took an engine penalty as he'd have been fighting Hamilton and Heidfeld at the end giving us something to watch.
Best action of the day was watching Sutil's Spyker charging up to 12th at one point...

Sutil is rumoured to be lined up for a Ferrari test drive next season - they're hoping that the experience Massa had will work again. And they'll be a seat at Renault for him as another option - Fisi is being dumped apparantly. Toyota are also rumoured to be replacing both drivers

I believe that Torro Rosso may sign Ralf Schumacher possibly with Sebastien Vettel remaining

I've always thought they should replace cars with midgets riding zoo animals. And instead of racing it should be a big death match. And instead of being called F1 it should be called Zoo Animal Riding Midgets Mega Arena Death!!!!!
Until these changes are made they will not be receiving my custom.
