Good news -
Better than Bent and Johnson.
Heskey has always played well alongside Owen.
Goes down a bit easy for such a big guy, but does have a touch of class.

Rather have Heskey than Bent and Johnson, and if he can play like he did for Wigan at the end of last season, where he virtually kept them up in that game against Sheff. Utd., then we should be OK.
McClaren is an absolute disater, but then again, what do you expect from a scummer.

McClaren baffles me. I believe McClaren will have to win a major tournament to win over the fans - and that won't happen for various reasons whether it's because of McClaren's tenure or not - but his reign has been laughable... He's a yes man - he's guttless and lacks leadership.... etc etc etc.
These are two games that we simply must win:- I can't see why he didn't include Ashley Young or Emile Heskey for the Germany friendly if he felt there was a remote chance they'd make the "important" squad. That's what friendlies are all about, are they not?

Why oh why Emile Heskey? Sucks dogs cock. Simply we don't have much to pick from.....with the Crouchmeister suspended, we're a bit strapped. Its been said for some years now that the influx pf foreign players will harm the England team and I'd say we're now starting to see this. |
