oh yeah, it's still fucking awesome fun but, even though i've never been lucky enough to experience it, it's probably still lost some of that intial, early-stages impromptuness.

who can argue with 112,000 people getting fucked off thier faces together in a mass of countryside!? whilst listening to top live music and other strange stuff.

I keep reading about the stone or magic circle being the place to be in an evening, anyone ever herd of it.

People talk about it as if it where legendary.

Old thread dig up but is anyone off to Glasto this week?

Got all the gear ready and praying the weather holds out.  Early indications look ok(ish)  but certainly not counting chickens in that respect.

Not much to twitch the trouser tent in terms of line-up but I'm hoping the poor ticket sales and lack of 'big names' should make for a different experience this year and less of a squeeze mooching about.

I'll have to remember Mex's advice this year and take a blade to slash a few hippies (if there's any left) up at the Stone Circle.

Nice one Bennett any acts you're wanting to catch in particular?

If you're as lazy as some of my lot are then you can order all your gear from Joe Bananas online and pick it up on site from 8am Wednesday.

Last day today though I think.

Looked at the line up the other day and i'm not suprised they struggled to sell tickets as fast as they normally do.

Valid point but it's obviously not the case for many, many people.

My missus' dad went to the first Pilton Pop Festival and they gave out a free pint of milk  Cheesy

First ever band to play Glastonbury? Stackridge (from the back of a truck)

Pete Townsend did an acoustic set too.
