Its laughable because its less than a quarter of a bid the plastic spactics got rejected. A player that Wycombe valued at 750k last season. No harm in trying though.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be delighted to get Easter on board. I just don't think we can compete financially with MK yet when trying to buy players. Now that hurts saying that...

Was the MK bid confirmed as 600k or just rumour? easter is out of contract at the end of the season, so they can't hold out indefinitely - and if wants the move then a formal bid could make him push for it too.

If we go back with more you never know - why would we have tried bidding that price in the knowledge MK had definitely bid 600k?

They got 1 mill for Mcleod and some more for Clive Platt i do believe. So even by spending 600k on Easter they'd still be making roughly 600k anyway.

obviously were not going to go in all guns blazing on this one so a cheeky £125k bid is enough to show them were serious cos as someone pointed out he's out of contract in 9 months so they can't and wont hold out for too much.

as for MK bidding i think is laughable considering they are in the same league so why would he sign for them?

Personally i think maybe £300k would snap him up or maybe £400k.
If we spend this on him and maybe a couple of extra players (Holmes + 1 other) then i'll have to buy me a new keyboard cos my buttons willllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
