Milton Keynes sign Swindon winger
Quote
Franchise have signed former Swindon winger Mustapha Carayol on a two-year contract.
The Gambia-born 18-year-old, who came through the Robins' youth ranks, was registered for first-team duty last season during an injury crisis.

However, he did not make a first-team appearance and was released at the end of the season, before joining Milton Keynes for pre-season training.

He impressed boss Paul Ince by scoring twice in the 5-1 win over Ampthill.

I saw him 5 times for the reserves last season and I wasnt impressed by him but hes obviously made an impression on Incey so good luck to the lad, was he given a free by us or could there have been a fee involved if he was under contract with us still?

i think i'm right in saying that he was living with one of the other youth lads who was released, and decided to go back home to london (??), we agreed to let him go.

Nice to see one of our released youth players moving to a better club.

Cheesy

Good luck to him, sounded okay from reports I read but I doubt he'll see all that much first team action this year

Noticed in the local rag this week that Darren Campbell of running very fast fame has been helping the Dongs in training lately, add to that they held Alan Ball's memorial match at the new ground last weekend.

How are they managing to attract people like Campbell and how on earth were they allowed to have Ball's game, it's a fucking disgrace that they are being treated like an actual club, high profile names etc. should steer well clear as far as I'm concerned.
