As a winger yes, not so sure about up front - I'm hoping for a decent loan, such as McGoldrick at Southampton.

Bloody hell if had not been for the damn transfer embargo we could have gone in for Torres and Henry, I think people need to take a reallity check we are team that has just been promoted from Div 4 that coupled with fact we have absolutely no money does not make us that attractive to league 1 level players let alone championship ones but the one thing we do have is a decent manager who will get the best out of what he has got

He's also been linked with a move to Frenchy side Nice. http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/fastshow/characters/images/louis_balfour2.jpgNice That aside from memory he did pretty well at Chester to save them from the drop and even knocked a couple past the Pox. Plus he's also been known to play out wide so he could be bought in as a winger. Another international player to boot.

Like Moonie said, Winger = yes, Striker = No.
He's really not the type of player we need.

I think he's mainly been brought in as a short term striker, long term winger...but thats just me.

Capped by Ghana this year - not that it means a great deal. Erm, I think it does mean something, especially as there's the African Nations Cup in January!! And Ghana have qualified as hosts.

I was gonna say Michael Essien and Stephen Appiah might have something tosay too. Ghana are no mugs, find it hard to believe Derek Asamoah would be good enough to get capped by them, maybe he's improved since I last saw him.
