I'm going to but my train tickets on friday. Do you get group discount for booking 4 at a time?

Someone at work told me that it's £3.50 each if you book as a group of 4.

For those that are going by train, the pub right next to the train station in Cheltenham called 'The Midland' is doing a football special.

A mate of mine has just taken it over and is doing discounted beer and putting a load of food for away fans. He's also running mini-bus's to the ground and back.

It had crossed my mind that the Midland may end up being a bit of target if there was going to be any trouble, becuase it's right next to the train station.

But so would any pub that was full of Swindon fans in Cheltenham!

If no one's comfortable going there, there's plenty of other pubs to choose from between the station and the ground. The police may even be planning some sort of escort to a specific boozer anyway.  I know they have done that in the past with other large away followings.

Like I put in my original post, the details I've been given are a bit sketchy anyway, so I'd call first to check what the pub have got planned before 500 Swindon fans turn up!!
