442 : Talking of finances, with so many FL clubs straddled with large debts, are any of you worried about your futures ?
FE : We definately are. We still haven't fully pulled ourselves out of administration as we owe the creditors £900k. The deadline for this is the end of the week, and if it isn't paid, we could be issued with a winding up order.
(At the time of press, Swindon hadn't paid the remaining amount (and still haven't), but no decision had been taken by the administrators at to what should happen as a result (Just close my eyes and put fingers in my ears and the nasty creditors might go away)).

Despite these debts we've arranged for a pre-season trip to Austria which will cost a bit, while signing Akinfenwa for around £35k. Instead of signing new players and going on tour, maybe we should think about saving the club.
