good thinking this, because all the strange people who really care about their bodies that much are able to opt out and the rest of us can maybe save someone without even doing anything

except for dying.

good plan i says

Great idea. Anyone who cares that much will opt out. The rest of us will be saving lives.

I really like the idea of bits of me living on in other people if something bad happened to me. Not sure my Organs are in great shape so can't really imagine who'd want them.

I think this is a very good thing. When my cousin was killed aged 20, he was a registered donor and he saved other peoples lives. All of whom are still alive and living a normal life.

Yes from me, I don't have a donor card, but my folks are pro-donation, so would definately consent.  I can't give blood for ages now because I have been to tropical places and had all sorts of vaccines, I hate needles though so its actually good from my perspective - once I'm clear to do it I'm gonna make the effort though.

Giving blood is really really easy. The most painful bit is a pin prick on your finger. Maybe a slightly dead arm afterwards - although probably not.
Plus, you get free tea and biscuits and a warm glow of doing the right thing.
