To be fair, those available on a free - there's not much better out there - and if there is (Leon Best) then they're being snaffled by better clubs.

Our best bet is to get Akinfenwa in, and then go and get a ridiculously talented kid from a Prem club to bang a few in.

He'll want 4 or 5 strikers - Corr, Akinfenwa, Blair, kid....

It's not SSP and Mooney, but you never know

In theory, a team will 4 strikers in, Roberts, Peacock, Corr and ....., should be able to score goals.
We'll see.

never ever rated him. one of those strikers that lacks class in the finishing department, he's got many other attributes but slotting the ball in the net isnt one of them.

now, fallon wasn't the greatest of finishers but he did alright but i'm of the opinion that we have a team full of people who don't take their chances, surely we don't need another one?

but yeah, if sturrock rates him then i can't complain.

pretty much my sentiments exactly. he's a battering ram first, striker second.

he has a slightly better record than I thought actually, if you ignore the sub appearances.  I suppose the concern would be his lack of consistency in his career and that he's been round the houses a bit.

I would certainly still want an out and out striker if we sign someone like him.

I saw him play when we drew 2-2 at Torquay t'other season and I thought he looked strong and fast and generally a bit of a handful.

Scored a belter from outside of the box IIRC

My friend is a Swans fan, said he be suprised if he scored more than 10 for us...now i wouldnt be too dissapointed if he scored that many for us, goals from the rest of the team as well and the jobs a gooden!

Seemed bit of a cult figure at Swansea as well
