None of you guys have probably heard of him, as he isn't that well known, but went to see him play in Strasbourg last night and was very impressed. I only have his latest 2 albums but he played most of his first album which went down well with the crowd who sang most of his songs back to him to his utter surprise! He is a singer songwriter from London who is a miserable bastard but I really like his choons. Live it is just him, a pianist and a cello which when played together make a lovely sound. £15 very well spent as he played for nearly 2 hours and did 2 encores.

Oh and on the train back from Metz (we had to change at Metz) the girl that was checking our tickets was cute as hell! She spoke perfect English and we had a short conversation about France and England and she told me when we arrived in Luxembourg to 'keep courage' (I assume that this was due to me being on crutches). I think I love her more than the Petrol Station girl now!

Just climb up your own back sides and don't come back!

I am amazed at how people like Blunt gets to be famous after 1 album and there are talented singer/songwriters (such as Tom Mcrae) who has 4 quality albums yet is still unknown in the music world.

Mind you people listen to Hip Hop music and watch big brother so probably explains it! :-))(
