Nobody said kids shouldnt be allowed in Pubs just that its not entirely unacceptable to ask parents to have them out by 9.00pm.

Which is absolutely fine Yeovil. The bit we were in though, was basically a restaurant and in a different bit to the actual pub.

I was more pissed off that it was no-smoking, got bloody soaked 3 times per hour!

 Cheesy

I think the people that say 'kids shouldn't be in pubs' are mostly folk that don't have kids of their own.

If i had a child, i'd like to be able to enjoy a pint with my family.

Not so Ralphy....kids in pubs is just wrong.

When I was a kid you sat outside in the car, had a coke and a bag of crisps, brought at regular intervals, and read books by the companion light.

  That's responsible parenting.

Times have changed Reginald.

The pub is no longer a smoke filled, male dominated place.

Some are family orientated. Cheesy

You're old school Reg and it does have it's good points.

I dont take Gianluca into pub's alot cos he is hyper... and the last thing you want when drinking is annoying kids running around!
But on the occasion when i drug him up and he sits nice and quietly with his gameboy and crisps i see no problem.
I understand most places have a 9pm curfew... What annoys me is the lack of places i can go to watch a televised match most places kids are not allowed in the bar where the football is on!
Pipers was really nice Saturday though! Never been to the
Dockle cos i hvae heard eveil things about it.
