Damn right Yeovil...if you have kids you've got to be responsible and accept there are certain freedoms which you lose.

I tried to go in the Merlin before a game last season, but because I had my lad with me I couldn't.

I can understand it in the evening, but a Saturday afternoon?

Can't remember if it was the same when it was the Oxford?

did the same with us, when we went in with family....we had to leave at 9 because my cousin Thomas is only 16.

Dont see what harm it does having kids in past 9pm....but if its in the license, its in the license.

Didnt make it in the end, our 6-a-side game was 8:30 and I was a bit wet afterwards!! we won 11-2 though  Cool

It took the piss last night to be honest. Jenna was sat there good as gold doing her colouring-in, and had only just been served her dinner.

Meanwhile a group of about eight little shits were running around the pub screaming and shouting. And they were still there until about half nine.

Got Jen a meal and when it arrived I would not even feed it to my dog it was so shit.

Took it back and complained and reordered a bowl of chips and a bowl of fresh veg.

3/4 hr later I went back and asked where the replacement meal was.

It came about 8.45 with the manager saying that we had to be out by 9.00.

Fucking cuntish.

As Sussex said, If Jenna was running around and screaming like a lunatic I could perfectly understand, but she wasn't.

They could make so much money if they got their customer Service hat on.

They should not advertise it as Swindons premier "family venue" then. Its not like its the Greyhound or The Grapes mate

I think the people that say 'kids shouldn't be in pubs' are mostly folk that don't have kids of their own.

If i had a child, i'd like to be able to enjoy a pint with my family.

even more so now the smoking ban comes in, as most parents done take their kids to pub due to the smokey atmosphere.

its out of order at the end of the day.
