No its crap - I dont even bother doing them anymore - getting food poisioning from the Dockle was the final straw!! - you only normally got 1/2 drinks and then after a while they chose what you had to eat and stuff rather then letting you pick whatever. just wasnt worth the money really. we had to do the savoy and the Litten tree as well

Even Rachel enjoyed herself last night, and promised to come to a few games with me - she's only coming for the beer me thinks...I need some advice on how to make her love STFC as much as I do.

You know the big scenes in A Clockwork Orange, where they make the main dude hate stuff my giving him drugs and eye drops whilst watching it on the big screen?

Well you want to do the opposite. Tie her down, force feed her happy pills and make her watch a few videos of town games. Sorted.

I did get a bit of earache last night after Sussex let the secret slip, but it wasn't too bad.

Ah, sorry about that, I'd been warning Birdy not to use that word all afternoon too..  Doh

Not that secret numb-nuts, the fact that I'd slipped into the Merlin for a quick pint yesterday was what got me in trouble...

You had a lucky escape there Fred, we were about to buy a house in Grange Drive, on the left hand side as you go down from the New Inn, right by a post box!!  Our offer for the house in Wheeler Avenue was accepted and so we didn't pursue it! Oops
