Charlie will blatently start randomly appearing in the Jungle now.  Also what is going on with Walt?  I wonder if that was actually him or if Locke was just having a vision

Obviously they get rescued, but something must happen before they are rescued.

As you saw from the 'flashbacks', it's fucked with Jack's head big time.

It reminds me a bit of Lord of The Flies.

i think the people on the boat may rape the island of the magic somehow and bad things happen.  although its equally likely that something totally random will occur in true lost styley

I rekon that it was Ben in the coffin, and when Jack finds out that he is dead, he realises that Ben was his last hope of getting back to the island (which he clearly wants to go back to for some reason) - which is why he tries to commit suicide.

A couple of other things that have been picked out are that the name of the funeral directors: "Hoffs/Drawlar" is an anagram for "flash forward"

The mobile that Jack uses in the flash-forwards was a Motorola KRZR - which was only released in October 2006.  They crashed onto the island in 2004 - which is an indication of how far into the future the flash-forward is.

The newspaper clipping that Jack reads:
http://www.lostpedia.com/images/thumb/d/d4/Newspaperclipping2.jpg/200px-Newspaperclipping2.jpg
says:
Los Angeles
Man found dead in
downtown loft

"The body of Jo...[unreadable]...[a]ntham of
New York was discovered shortly after 4
a.m. in the...[unreadable]...of Grand
Avenue. Ted...[unreadable]...man at The
Tower...[unreadable]...heard loud
noises...[unreadable]...antham's loft.
[unreadable]... [sa]fety, he
[unreadable]...discovered the
[unreadable]...a beam in the
[unreadable]...[ac]cordin[g]...[unreadable]..."

Interesting...

I'm impressed by your thoughts Rossi. But after taking what you've said into consideration. The person in the coffin is more likely to be Jacob if we're assuming you're on the right track.

What a fucking weird ending. Didn't see that one coming, but i guess it opens up the potential for more storylines.

They will have to explain how all the people got off the island (if in fact they did/do), and have storylines for each character and what they have done since they left the island.

I've got a eeling Locke stayed on the island.

And was it me, or did Walte grow like 2 foot since we last saw him?
