Quiet surprised about Evans. Not offered a contract. Based on his injury, and has pre-season to prove himself. Bit of a concern if a club comes in for him.

I can see Aaron Brown joining Cheltenham or someone like that.

No Weston or Shakes mentioned... Interesting.

Shakes is on a very low wage and useful back-up for RB and Wing - I think he'll get a late deal of 1 year or a month-to-month if Sturrock can't find anything better.

But until there's cover there's little point in releasing him... Maybe a loan into League 2 or Conference is beckoning next year, with the option of a recall...

Weston is available for transfer but has a kick in clause from last seasons contract because of the games he played under Wise so he's not been released.

He's basically gone then. Williams signs a new deal, negociations with Corr and Evans has pre season.

No mention of Shakes.

Weston is also young and if Wise wants him, we're entitled to a transfer fee...

I think we're not releasing him, as it'd make him a free transfer, when we want some mulla for him...

So basically Weston would have been released if it wasn't for that clause.

I still think he'll join Wise at Leeds.

Na Wycombe signed Fola on a contract to the end of next season.

I think shakes and noubissie will follow, i wish pook and blair sturrock would go as well as they are not good enough for league one.

I'd agree with Pook. Sturrock though could be a usefull player to have around, given that he had not played for months when he came to us, with a full pre season under his belt he could provide a different option and reasonable cover.

i wonder if sturrock would have offered williams a contract if he had not triggered his clause? would he have given him the same kind of option to prove himself like he has said with evans?

i just hope evans is given a contract, even if he does not play every game he would me a massive plus to our squad next season.
