from what Fith Gear said last night they are more refined and comfortable.

to me that sounds boring compared to the old one.

Still intend on ordering one next month though as want a hot hatch and bit of comfort will be good with it taking 30 mins on the motorway to get to work.

the words 'hot hatch' and 'comfort' dont belong in the same sentence i'm afraid. get a Type S if thats what you want!

Yeah I know that I meant comfort compared to something like the old type R.......the new one actually has air con etc so won't die of heat stroke in the summer like in my shitroen

i'm surprised your shitroen starts, and doesnt blockade your driveway in protest of the heat in the summer

It aint been too bad to be honest but its the last shitroen I'll ever purchase...... but being almost 23 I still want a hot hatch and the best one I've driven has been the new type R for what I want....had it for 2 days to test drive. Got 5 years no claims so the insurance is ok as well which is a bonus.

With all the driving I do I was tempted by the Type S diesel, but it was disappointing compared to the type R, and has some awful textured plastic trim making it look tacky.
The type R is more refined than the old one but can still be booted about and looks nice too, so am going down that route. Dealers offered 17,500 for the GT which aint a bad deal, dealers offered it for 18,000 with the 19" inch rage alloys on, I'm tempted but need to consider the cost of replacement tyres when their needed really, £200 a tyre is pretty steep.

I was referring too my shitroen, when they attempt a hot hatch like their C2 GT they strip everything out not even giving Aircon
