yeh. don't know the score, but they said they had on the radio. Salisbury are in the conference south play-off final aswell, so not a bad day for wiltshire football

Yes they won 2-0 so are promoted to the Southern League Premier - The same league as Chippenham - Fair play to them!

Hurrah for Supermarine.
Once the whipping boys of the Southern League, they've since grown a pair and are now a half-decent outfit. I'd like to think could hold their own in the Premier League but it's going to be tough.
I notice Cliff Puffett pictured in a few of their post match celebration photo's. I wonder if he was keeping up to date with events at the CG during the afternoon?

Comment on the supermarine forum from a Bashley fan:
"I suppose congratulations are in order on your win today but the whole sorry affair of your heavy defeat at Abingdon which turned into a draw courtesy of the league Board on which you are represented, not to mention the farce of your match against Chesham which you were losing 2-0 leaves a very unpleasant legacy of what has been a truly great season. I feel desperately sorry for the teams who didn't make the playoffs as a result of the decisions made by the Southern League and your shocking lack of sportsmanship in not conceding the Abingdon game; I just hope you struggle in the Premier next year and we take 6 points off of you.
Enjoy the champagne - I kind of hope it chokes you!"
Ha ha, what a cunt.

ooooooooooooooh! supermarine had a play-off, now it all makes sense.. quite late on saturday night (about 12 pints down) my mate says "we went up and so did sidbury, my other team" i asked him why the fuck he supported sidbury, and even if its a real place and can't remember getting an answer. he obviously said supermarine
