I'm looking forward to next week in a strange way. Atleast it will be intersting in the sense that both teams will be going for the win!

On the other hand I am also cacking my pants too  Sad

utter shit

Midfield, none existant, created nothing.

As I say every time we dont create....Weston  :x

Lukas couldnt do anything right, he got pushed and Rovers got free kicks.

Ref was a gashead.

whats the dates for the play offs?

the ref was a disgrace! he must have been a Rovers or MK fan! we were poor. created nothing, didn't get the ball on the floor enough, didn't show enough urgency to score, didn't get the ball wide enough

We seemed to be wondering around in a daze in the first half & the 2nd half was only marginally better. Rovers were a better organised & hard working team who closed us down us & challenged for 2nd ball unlike our poor team (Ifil, Phil Smith excluded)

Again the game passed our midfield by & we failed badly to use the width  - Zabooub was so poor today, his touch was crap, & he bottled challenges in the first half, he should have been subbed at half time. (Why cant Sturrock swallow his pride & play Weston next week with Timlin )

I was again embarassed to be a Town fan again today - what a gutless performance in a local derby. To lose out on the automatic place now would be a travesty + highlight our 2 obvious deficiences for all season :
1) lack of an attacking central midfielder with creativity, since Weston dropped out of Sturrock plans 2) lack of goals in the team - since Evans injury & Sturrock painful slow attempts to get a goalscorer in

I would have brought Brown on for Zaboub at half-time.  Also Peacock's not looking fit at all, couldn't seem to get about the pitch.  I hope Corr is back for next Saturday.

I said at half time to bring on Brown for Zaboub & everyone around me looked at me in horror. Without Barry Corr we didnt looked like scoring -

Sturrocks Jan signings have looked poor or jinxed ?
Partridge injured, Claude never played in first team, James poor in his 2 limited appearances, Grimes reasonably lively & scored quite few in reserves. Only Barry Corr has delivered.

I hope v Walsall he replaces Westwood with Jack Smith, Brown for Zaboub, Corr if fit for Jukebox (seems better as an impact sub at the present) Timlin for Pook or Peacock

weston is just too lightweight, and too much of a "big-time."

the player we missed most today was barry corr.

hope to god that we can sign him up permanently.
