If they go into Admin they'll get the points penalty this season right now because they could stay up. If they wait until they are down, then it will go into next season. It is aimed to be maximum penalty.
If they get into Admin, it's because they lived beyond their means. For our strategy to work long term, then this type of penalty must be kept and enforced without compassion. The club has had a better squad than they could afford, so should have offloaded players much sooner and thus got worse results. I'd go as far as to say it should be more, and yes, I'd have to accept it if it was us in that situation. We actually got away with a shit load by going into admin so often. There are probably quite a few clubs still gambling like Plymouth have.

Yeah thats very true, it has been on the local news down this neck of the woods for well over a month that Plymouth were on the verge of going into admin. |
