Then assuming Everton finish 4th,as seems likely then Everton would be denied a place in the champions league next season as Liverpool would get a place by winning it and we can only have 4 teams in it.

Its a big if but would make for some interesting discussions on Merseyside,how gutted would Everton fans be?
