City reserve striker Ashley Grimes has joined Swindon Town on a month's loan. The 20-year-old has been in good form for the Blues' second string all season, bagging seven goals so far.
Paul Sturrock's side are currently fifth in Division Two and will be looking for Ashley to help them secure a play-off spot at the very least.

So that's no signings eh, Fatbury?
Welcome Grimey, if all is signed, sealed and delivered.

Why only a month though? If he bangs in the goals in that month and then we lose him for the run in we'll be back to square one won't we?

My only concern is that we have 2 players here for just a month. What if we get to the playoffs? I suppose some strengthening is better than none.

I would guess we've got the option to extend the loan?
You see a lot of loans start of as 1 month, then quickly turn into 2 or 3 months!

That's exactly who I thought of. Did Macari actually sign him on loan when he first came to Swindon? I've a feeling he did
