He can say as much as he wants but he's got fuck all in reserve to replace these players and he's entirely at fault for that.

Words are cheap.

Did he injure Evans, Williams and Caton then?

Agreed a portion of the blame is his, but to say he's entirely to blame is a bit harsh.

This isn't the first time we've been massively angered by Christian Roberts displays, lets be honest he's really only play well in a hand ful of games in the three seasons he's been here. He has to go.

He's shifted players out and frozen others out, so in that respect he is to blame. The players he's bought in have been mostly disappointing.

Of course it's not his fault x is injured.

Zaaboub - good till he got a long term contract

Timlin - good till Fulham gave him a long term deal

Sturrock - not match fit, looks ok....but not ready for 90minutes every week and we cant afford to have unfit players

Westwood - sounds wank

Biggest problem has been losing Ady and Evans, both leaders on the field.  Losing Peacock for a few games didn't help either.  Absolutely rignt about lack of old heads on the field.

Zaaboub - inconsistent, form has dipped dramatically since the new year.
Timlin - incosistent, often drifts out of games.
Sturrock - only seen him once but hasn't had a huge impact on the side, not the goalscorer we require to attain promotion.
Noubissie - not seen him yet, supposedly a right-back but played in midfield so far?

Wise bought in some excellent players - Brezovan, Smith, Williams, Evans - and some useful squad players - Vincent, Weston - as well as improving the form of players who were already at the club - Roberts, Shakes, Ifil. Of course, it's easier to bring players in at the start of the season but not one of the players Sturrock has signed would get into our team at the start of the season.

We're moving backwards, players who were playing well earlier this season have become anonymous, squad/reserve players who provide competition have been moved on and players have been frozen out.

It worries me, we're slipping down the table as the season draws to an end. If we go into the play-offs in this sort of form then we're going to be looking forward to an away trip to Dagenham and Redbridge next year.

Keeping the same back four as last Saturday would have made sense.  Dropping Roberts to the bench would also have made sense.   Keeping Timlin in the holding position would also have made sense.  Starting eleven against Bristol Rovers will be interesting.

Timlin has as many good games as bad.

Zaboub is (As you mentioned in a previous thread) our most creative player.

Sturrock. IMO better than what we had (Brownlie and onion bhaji)

Westwood. After 1 game? Give him a chance to train with the team!

Changing the back four was absolutely absurd, they kept a clean sheet last weekend and Ifil was immense.
