I'll join in if we can have a pop at the police.

My initial reaction to protests was very much the same as Herthab's, but some of you have won me over a bit with you're viewpoints(when you're not being self-righteous cunts that is Wink )

I myself did not protest, but I think we should remember that this is independent protests . Should the consortium/trust say up the pressure then there will be a significant increase in numbers.

How long did it last?

We left the lounge at about half 5 and everyone was gone.

Why? The point is to make ourselves heard, 50ish of us were there for 10 minutes, made ourselves heard - most of the board members came to the window to look out at one point or another - and then went home quietly. No point standing around all night, the idea is to show the board how we feel.

People have buses/trains to catch, places to be etc.

Nobody was going to come down for a chat though were they and even if they did it would be Mike "what's the problem lads?" Bowden.

I think we let our feelings known. They closed the window facing out from the Arkells, they wanted us to go away but were too busy hiding to face us.

Diamandis is the sort of bloke who couldn't care less whether people protest about him or not. Waste of time. I can't see how it's actually his fault anyway; it was Devlin that sanctioned the overspend.
