We've played shit football this season but got results.

This is the worst possible time to have a poor run, if we fall behind then the pressure will become greater and it'll be tougher to keep in the auto spots. Dropping into the play-offs from an automatic promotion place will inveitably end badly.

I don't like Sturrock. I wish I did but he's done nothing to impress me whatsoever.

I'm sure you and DV still have many friends though despite these defects so don't worry  Cheesy

How much does it really require to look good at times in the basement league, the secret is doing it regularly which we aren't anymore.
Even in league 1 there is a notable jump in standards, this league is utterly awful

We've been mostly dull to watch all season.  At the start of the season we were "efficient".  The team never looked amazing but always looked in control of games on the whole, and result generally backed that up.

Since the change of Manager we've been hit and miss, mostly miss and have used that early season organisation to get results, but we seem to be less clear in our set-up now.

In Sturrock's defence, he does seem to get teams promoted from the lower leagues, so he must know what he's doing, but I can't help constanly thinking he's actually annoying.  He winds me up with his post match stuff, more so than King who was just a fruit loop with a foul mouth.

Wouldn't it have been great come Jan 1st to have had something like £200k or decent wages to offer up into the market.  As it is we've lost a few players who early season were competing in a side that was 1st or 2nd and gained a few squad players.

Like I did with Sonic, I agree Rob.

As I said earlier, I feel the board have just lost their trump card as Sturrock isn't the big hit they thought he would be

Quite right....we've ground out some good results here and there, but we are a limited side.....in a limited division.

A bit of strengthening in Jan would have been good, but we went for weakening.....whether the blame for that can be solely laid  with the Board, I don't know.

However there are still a lot of points to play for....lets not take our eyes off the ball though, what happens on the pitch is a mere side show to more important matters.
