Well seeing we are on a punk theme the Slits were not my cup of tea and bar Sousie and the Banshees The Slits were probably the most well known lady Punk band........a strange lady was Ari Up but she left on her mark in life in a small way...

Went to see The Gotan Project last Monday which was a bit different from the usual stuff I watch but enjoyed anyway. But weirdly on the same day a venue for the pictures that made the experience that much better this was at a venue I'd not been to before but was (considering the area) surprising too, The Troxcy in East Lahhndahn. Anyone been ?

Saw the Pixies at the Troxy a couple of months back. Excellent venue and certainly different. No draft beer reduced it's appeal but better than cans out of a bathtub they used to sell at the Astoria.

Was supposed to be seeing the Manics at Brixton tomorrow night but it's been postponed to January as JDB has lost his voice! Something to look forward to after xmas instead.

Going to see Dead Mau5 and Magnetic Man at Earls Court on Dec 18th. Oh and Zane Lowe will be there too, which gives me plenty of time to get drunk for the main two acts.
