To be honest bob dylan,tom waits,shane macgowan neil young etc would never win x factor.doesnt make them less than brilliant.
No interest in Dylan, Waits or Macgowan, but now you mention it Neil Young was brilliant when I saw him a few years back. I didn't really notice his voice being Ian Brown bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I think that's probably because I was engrossed in his guitar work. |

I saw Kasabian a few years ago at the BIC, supported by Reverend and The Makers.. Decent show.. not my usual cup of tea, but it was a free ticket. Happy days! The support is better than the headliner there. |

True and boring story, I worked an event called carling live 24 in 2004. It was gigs in London in different venues for 24 hours. I did Babyshambles at ULU, the third gig of the day, and the first gig of the day. The Von Bondies supported by Kasabian at the Barfly with doors at 7am. It was weird seeing people walk in at 7am, look at the bar and not know what to do.
Mind you it was only Carling so it wasn't really alcohol.

taking the missus to see rudimental at westonbirt next week, they do a weekend of shows every year. I think Kaiser Cheifs, UB40 and Tom Jones are doing other days there.
Looking forward to it, not been to a gig in years
