Im up the road at the colston hall with the rather more sedate Chris Rea.  I cant imagine Chris Rea paddling over the audiences heads in a rubber dinghy like Parkway Drive did on the never say die tour I did with them a few years ago.

Chris Rea is one of my wifes favourites she has always wanted to see him live, didn't even know he was on tour, but TBF I didn't look that hard Smiley

After a year of working 142 shows with (namedrop alert)

Warpaint, Mayday Parade, Midlake, Hermitage Green, The Jezabels, Rocksound, Bombay Bicycle club, Radkey, Architects, Transatlantic, Banks, Stiff Little Fingers, Deaf Havana, James Walsh (not that one), Sick Puppy, Brody Dalle, Marmozets, Cirque De Soleil, The Eagles, Richie Sambora, Stevie Wonder, Wet Wet Wet, Beach Boys, Jessie J, Tom Jones, Boyzone, Peter Andre, Liam Finn, First Aid Kit, Manchester Orchestra, Dirty Youth, The Common Linnets, Johnny Marr, The Hold Steady, Motörhead, La Roux, the levellers, John Cooper Clark, Rag and Bone Man, Basement Jaxx, Chris Rea, Justin Timberlake, Paolo Nutini, Kodaline, Nile Rogers, Bastille, M People, I decided to pay to go to a gig.

Saw the cure on Sunday night at Hammersmith apollo and they were fantastic.  It was amazing.

3 hours + and they played in amongst it all the entirety of The Top album some of which they hadn't played since 1984.  If a gig is ever worth £50 this was 40 songs on the night.

I wish I could have gone for the other 2 nights as well.
