Elbow tonight. Looking forward to it.

Hope you don't end up seeing Arse by mistake, I've always thought ofyou as quite knowledgeable.

God that was lame.

There are usually a lot of French people at these gigs so will probably be plenty of arses about!!

Joking aside, more people than in the UK at gigs in Luxembourg chat away during quiet songs which is one of my bugbears, hopefully that doesn't happen this evening!

That's because the fans in the UK are too busy filming everything on their mobile to talk.

Elbow were very good last night. In front of 400-500 people in a small venue they thrive.

Jerky electro pop.  Sing in silly falsetto voices.  Like the foals gone a bit 80's.  Pretty good.  Well, better than I describe it.

Cheers gk_nash. Not 100% my cup of tea but look ok to give them a listen. May as well get our money's worth.

Was really, really good. Probably the best gig I've been to in quite a while.

Madness weekend at Butlins this weekend, 2 gigs by Madness one on Friday with their brand new album and one on Saturday with all the back catalogue.

Also supporting them are Man like me, Beardy Man, Baxter Dury, Maverick Sabre, Paul Heaton, Scroobious Pip, Mr Scruff, Keep it unreal, Craig Charles, Don Letts, Jerry Dammers and loads of others too like Bob Mills and Junior Simpson.

Can't wait.

Springsteen is headling Hard Rock Calling, always wanted to see him but will wait to see who the other acts are before forking out £60.
