I watched Noah and the Whale whilst stood next to Stuart Pierce. Which was bizzarre.

I watched Gaslight Anthem next to Ricky Lambert.  I was pissed and called him a "Gas Twat" under my breath cos i'm hard.

Off for another jolly this weekend to see some old mates Nathan Moore, Aswad, Sonia and the totally mad Dr & the Medics (they are brilliant live) and get to meet Nik Kershaw for the first for the first time.

Then off to see The Specials in a couple of weeks and then a great Nutty weekend with Madness at Butlins for the Madness weekender VIP.

Supporting them will be Paul heaton, Beardyman, Baxter Dury, Man like me, Bob Mills, Junior Simpson and loads more, realy looking forward to that one.

Are they any good? They seem to play in Luxembourg a lot, but never bother my arse to go.

My next batch of gigs are in November - Death Cab, My Morning Jacket and then Elbow in the space of 6 days.

Never seen them live, but speaking to people who have they put on a good show. Newer songs are a bit hit and miss, but older stuff is a lot better.

They do put on a really good show.  Eddie argos is fantastically engaging and funny as a front man.  Definitely catch them if you can.

My ex was really into Art Brut and we went to see them around 2007/8 - I wasn't overly keen. I gather Frank Black produced their last album (& possibly more?) though which raises my interest a bit more.
