Im working the tour and worked his last one.  The shows were great to be honest.  Really good mix of material and excellent band.

Morrissey coming up in a week or so. I know he's turned into a bit of a cunt lately, and I'd far rather have a pint with Johnny Marr, but Andy Rourke passing made me realise he might not be touring much more and I've only ever seen him with the Smiths. His politics may be a well off but his music is mostly great.  Hmmm

I'm sure he's always been a cunt. luckily it doesn't matter that much at a gig*

Rigorous pre season training continues ahead of The Cult @ Cardiff Castle this evening.
Very good live band.
Electric, a great album.

If I remember, Ian Astbury was on the sofa next to Bob Geldof for the gimme your money "appeal" during Live Aid.
Long time ago now & some of you whippersnappers probably weren't even born.
For info, not a lot has changed.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

That sounds like a good gig. Electric is a great album, i need to get that out and play it again.

I saw them at MK Bowl in 1986.

I saw them in Bangalore in 2009. I think for health and safety reasons they weren't allowed to use Eddie, or a lot of the pyrotechnics they normally have. I had actually totally forgotten about that gig until I read your post!

Might check out what his set list is like on his gigs coming up and grab a ticket for Aylesbury if I like the look of it.

Blur last night was pretty special  ( certainly more enjoyable than my last 2 trips :-) ) , not a fan of Stadium gigs usually but that was good.

Just got the stress of trying to get Taylor Swift tickets for my daughter today  Smiley
