Arctic Monkeys in Southampton last night, they were excellent. Glastonbury next weekend & it looks like not much rain forecast so got my fingers crossed.

One Republic last night at Wembley Arena.

Great gig.

The downside was arriving with thousands of others attending harry Fucking Styles at The Shithole next door

That reminds me of seeing the Manics at Cardiff Castle on the same night that One Direction were "playing" at the Millenium Stadium.
2015 I think. The fortitude of the parents was to be admired if nothing else.

That reminds me, both Twickets and TicketSwap came up with Editors tickets for last night's gig in the recent past, but by the time I had seen the update I missed out. Sad

But will definitely be using those apps going forward, cheers for the suggestions.

Susan Ballion in Wolverhampton tonight.
A welcome return to live performances this summer.

The cynic in me would say that a few shows including lucrative festival appearances would serve to top up the pension quite nicely.
I'd like to think it was more a case of some musicians never really lose that desire to perform & create.

At least dawdling tourists are unlikely to hinder progress between pubs today.

I can never spell Souxsie.

Susan or Siouxsie, she was very good.

No reason why both can't be true, which I suspect is the case here...

Morrissey coming up in a week or so. I know he's turned into a bit of a cunt lately, and I'd far rather have a pint with Johnny Marr, but Andy Rourke passing made me realise he might not be touring much more and I've only ever seen him with the Smiths. His politics may be a well off but his music is mostly great.  Hmmm
