We’re going to see them at the O2 on Friday.

They're still a good band but saw them about 3yrs ago and Kelly Jones voice wasn't as good as it used to be.

Anyone else going to the EXTC gig next week at The Vic?

Didn’t know about this.

Assuming it’s basically an xtc covers band with Terry on drums?

Yeah, it's a warm up gig including Terry Chambers on drums and Gary Bamford/Steve Tilling from TC&I.

I imagine they'll schedule more in the future.

Stereophonics at the O2 last night was very good as you’d expect from a band that have been together for so long. A couple of minor gripes by Mr Old Man Orange.

The couple in front of me recorded the whole gig on their phone. Sorry, not for me Clive.
The pricing of food and drinks. £8.50 for cauliflower ‘wings’ - 6 cauliflower florets in batter/breadcrumbs and some chilli dip. Washed down with a pint of Strongbow for £7 (SEVEN). Absolutely outrageous.

That's O2 prices for you...

I get taking a photo of the band on stage but people who go to gigs and watch the thing through a phone need it inserting anally.

also people who go to gigs, particularly smaller venues/accoustic gigs, who stand at the bar chatting loudly..  there's a pub down the road cunts

Couldn’t agree more Batch. It’s just sheer rudeness in my eyes.

This is a song by Brakes, it’s called “hi, how are you” and it’s written about people chatting at gigs.

Most underated live band I’ve ever seen

Great band.  Should have done more and got a lot further.  The show I did with them at the Lexington was a riot.

During the Stereophonics there was a quiet song that was written about the death of the drummer and you could hear people chatting to each other. I just find this disrespectful if you go and see a band and don’t respect what they are doing.
