Fandangle were pretty rubbish. I thought they jacked it in years ago - I used to see their touring van quite a bit.

It is but more importantly, he's Garth Marenghi.

Yep, certainly is...but he was even better as Dr Rick Dagless from Garth Merenghi's Darkplace!

I do love Fandangle...better on CD than live, admittedly..but I saw them a little while back and they weren't too bad...

I love the other two bands....Zebrahead more so..

No wonder you married her!

Me and my girlfriend went to RBF/Zebrahead/LTJ in Feb...that was epic.

Umming and ahhing over whether to pay £40 to see Flaming Lips (support from Young Knives) at Brixton later this month.

Thoughts?

I had good fun at a Lips gig, and quite liked Young Knives last time I saw them, though I wouldn't pay £40 for it. But I'm a cheapskate.

So that's not helpful.

I saw Suburban Legends in Underworld Camden last week and they were fucking amazing. The crowd was amazingly nerdy and weird. Great support band called the Deli Cats as well.

I see Frank Turner played in Winchester recently...at the Railway Inn..£22!!

I know he's getting to be a big name but £22 for that venue is mental.

You probably can't squeeze more than 100 people in that room so they could have probably charged double that.  Hope they have cleaned the pumps there, worse pints I have ever tasted.
