Going to see The View tomorrow night in a teeny venue.
Shitty American band 'Fun' are playing in the bigger venue next door but decided on the smaller gig option which was half as expensive.

I took my Dad to see the Beach Boys at Wembley Arena last night, as he was a big of theirs in the 60's....
Wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a brilliant night, they played for 3 hours in total and as 4 of them are in their 70's they put me to shame as i was more knackered than there were in the end.
Brian Wilson sat for almost of it at the piano as he has a bad back but he seemed to be enjoying himself.

Was in the Rolleston after getting off the "Saga tours" bus. Didnt make it downstairs,stayed in the pub and enjoyed the Ian Doser beat combo  Must have been packed in the Furnace. |
